Mr David Punter School Mental Health Lead at Southborough High School in Tolworth, is organising an event to be held on Thursday 19th January at our school.
The event will have two main objectives:
– to signpost young people and parents/carer’s towards support for people suffering with ill mental health
– to promote local organisations that carry out activities that promote good mental health e.g. sports teams/scouts/music or arts services/youth club
The event will be a university fair-style gathering where local organisations can advertise the kind of activities that will promote good mental health.
We from Tolworth URC will be contributing with a stall to share something about our children’s activities, the fun and creativity and faith and how young and old work and play together. Good for all our mental health!
